Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) comments on the shooting death in Skärholmen.
“All the facts surrounding this are not clear, but if the information is correct, it is absolutely horrific,” he says in a written comment to TT.
“My thoughts are with the victim, the little guy and their relatives.”
The sadness is great, but so is the government’s determination, says the prime minister.
“The system-threatening crime that our country is now experiencing has brutal consequences for our entire free and open society. People with capital of violence should not be allowed to intimidate honest citizens into silence”.
“The gang with their total ruthlessness will not stop until we have stopped them. In that work, I and the government put our full strength, and we will go as far as it takes to stop them. Nothing is more important than ending the insane violence.”
