The bill for the construction of stage five of the Östra Piren in Karlshamn will be more expensive than estimated. Once again, the budget for the construction has been increased and the price tag is now around SEK 600 million, that was BLT first to report on.
– There have been some unfortunate circumstances in the project, especially when it takes place with inflation, which pushed up material prices. Then there have been slightly more advanced solutions that have taken a bit more time, says Karlshamnsfastigheter’s CEO Magnus Persson to SVT Nyheter Blekinge.
How big a risk do you think it is that the final bill ends up being more than 600 million?
– I think there is a very small risk, although in this project you dare not close any doors, unfortunately, says Magnus Persson.
