“ Meeting the governance challenge “, ” strengthen cohesion within the majority ” or ” provide the necessary support to the president to achieve his vision » are the objectives officially displayed by the “Pact for a Congo Found” platform.
Vital Kamerhe affirms that he is not in a self-interested approach: “ It has nothing to do with power sharing. Each political organization has proven what it is capable of. The ballot results speak for themselves. Far from the idea of political positioning, we don’t need it. We need a system of governance that can channel the key ideas of the President of the Republic to transform his dream into reality. »
For the Minister of Industry Julien Paluku, it is an initiative which aims to help the president: “ After the elections, we had to come together to say: “here is the number of deputies who are part of the majority” and therefore we wanted to facilitate the task of identifying the majority within Parliament so that each of the parties that we compose cannot arrive individually, but that the alliance can already arrive as a bloc and accompany the president in the implementation implementation of its various programs. »
The presidential party UDPS says it does not view this initiative unfavorably, even if some leaders of the regime already see it as a force to claim positions within future institutions.
In any case, it is a major maneuver within the presidential majority before the formation of the government and the establishment of new leaders of political institutions.
