(Finance) – One delegation from the Luis Guido Carliled by President Vincenzo Boccia, Vice President Paola Severino, Rector Andrea Prencipe and Director General Giovanni Lo Storto, was received at the Quirinale today, Friday 17 February, by the President of the Republic Sergius Mattarella.
The meeting was an opportunity to present the main ones to the Head of State social mobility projects on which the University has been strongly committed for some time. In fact, in his brief introduction, the President of Luiss, Vincenzo Boccia, described 42 Roma Luiss, the revolutionary coding school that trains professionals for the digital transition of companies and the Public Administration. Afterwards, Dr. Emma Marcegaglia, President of Luiss Alumni for Growth (LA4G), illustrated the activities of this investor club, made up of over 100 University graduates, which supports technological startups with the aim of generating value to be allocated to scholarships for students from difficult areas and social contexts.
At the conclusion of the meeting, they intervened with two testimonies: Martina Basile, a 42 Roma Luiss student, who recounted her experience in the innovative school for digital entrepreneurs launched in Rome and subsequently in Florence; the Alumnus Andrew Carmignani instead he retraced the growth of Keyless, a new generation biometric authentication startup, which he co-founded in 2019.
Since its foundation, the Luiss University has played a central role in the world of education, contributing to the training of professionals, managers, women and men of institutions with the aim of promoting the cultural and socio-economic growth of the country. This mission has also been accompanied by a strong focus on social mobility issues, through a growing investment in scholarshipsoe inclusion programs for deserving and talented students.
