Conditions that also complicate field operations.
Adverse weather conditions, in this case rain and the resulting mud, have slowed the pace of military operations for several days already, according to the American think tank Institute for the Study of War. The fighting continues all the same, details the British Ministry of Defense, in particular in the Donbass, in the localities of Pavlivka and Vuhledar, which are part of the Donetsk oblast. But no significant progress has been observed.

The lack of electricity will continue
According to the American think tank, once the ground is frozen by the cold, the pace of these operations should accelerate. In the meantime, the Ukrainian authorities, who fear new bombardments next week, are calling on their fellow citizens to get enough supplies, especially dry food and water.
On the energy side, the national electricity grid operator announced on Saturday that electricity production would only be able to cover three-quarters of consumption needs, and supply cuts would be necessary across the country. . Consequence: restrictions have been put in place in 14 of the 27 regions of the country, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky, and this while winter now seems to be setting in Ukraine.
