The police suspect that a pyromaniac may wreak havoc in Malmö. In just one day, there have been fires in ten different places in the city.
Two fires occurred during the night to Saturday in Malmö. A leisure farm and a car were set on fire during the night and the police now suspect that it may have a connection with the fires that occurred during the night of Friday.
– It is likely that the fires may be connected. It was eight yesterday and so far tonight we have two, says Andreas Hulting, officer on duty at police region South to TT.
The eight fires during yesterday took place in the same area and the two fires of the night are also close to each other, but in a different part of Malmö.
There are no suspects in the fires yet.
– We have no leads or suspects yet, but we are looking at some old suspects because there are a number of people who we know can do this kind of thing. Then of course it could be a new perpetrator, says Andreas Hulting.
