A 16-year-old was arrested shortly after the shooting in Tullinge where two women were killed. The boy, who has been known to the police for several years, had strayed from a HVB home earlier this week.
– We see that this is a pattern that repeats itself, says Max Åkerwall.
The Stockholm police have to spend a lot of police resources on picking up and capturing the same people, something that Åkerwall wants to succeed in changing.
– I would rather prioritize those resources on being in more places in the preventive proactive work, says Max Åkerwall.
