Eight elderly women reported yesterday that they were called by a man who pretended to be from the emergency center. The person warned that the caller would soon be the victim of a crime. To protect their valuables, the women were asked to leave the valuables to a “policeman” who was on his way to the person’s home. But in fact it was a disguised impostor.
According to the police, who are now going out and warning the public, the fraudsters came across gold and jewelery of an unknown value.
