– Since last Friday, we have had seven people who have had to be taken to hospital in Kristianstad after ingesting an unknown substance. All have been out at the pub in Kristianstad. Several have become unconscious as a result and have been in need of hospital care, says Evelina Olsson, spokesperson for the Police.
Both men and women affected
The victims are in their 20s to 30s and both men and women. The police do not know what they ingested, but they are awaiting test results and will hold interviews with all those affected.
– Since we do not know what the intention of this is, we want people, who are out in the pubs in Kristianstad in the near future, to be a little extra attentive. That you keep track of your drinks and food. If there is anyone who knows what this could be about, we would like to share that information, says Evelina Olsson.
