The police are increasing the possibilities of monitoring Uppsala with the help of drones, according to a decision from the authority.
The decision applies to the urban area and the police must be able to monitor the city at any time of the day, if necessary, to detect, prevent and prevent crime. The idea is also that the drones should be able to collect evidence and help with investigations.
The decision applies from Monday 16 October and for three months thereafter.
A similar decision was recently made in Helsingborg.
