The authority has not had enough resources to go through the material, which is what remains after an initial thinning of the material that comes in via, for example, social media services.
“It is unfortunate from several aspects and demonstrates how big the problem is,” says police process manager Björn Sellström to SVT.
With the special effort, the material has been distributed to the regions, where more police employees will be able to go through it. According to the chief safety representative, there is a concern in the organization that “with the change, the employees will be forced into a job that will make them feel bad or get sick”.
— I am humble in front of all employees who feel worried and have to take part in the material. Because it is a very nasty material many times, says Sellström to SVT.
