The police report on drunk driving, Mjölby
“Vehicle check revealed suspected weapons crime,” the police write on their website.
The police in Östergötland report this:
20:47 A patrol made a vehicle and driver check on Linköpingsvägen in Mjölby. During the check, a suspicion of drug-impaired driving arose. A decision was made to search the vehicle.
Findings were made in the car that made the driver and a passenger also suspected of weapons offences, preparation of public dangerous destruction and violation of the flammable and explosive goods law
The car was then impounded. In subsequent house searches, two more men suspected of the same crime were arrested and detained
The police are now working further with interrogation and analysis of findings.
