The police command center receives several calls about a loud bang that was heard over the eastern parts of Trelleborg.
Police patrols are ordered to the area and can determine on the spot that an unknown object has detonated at a gate to an apartment building on Borggården. The entrance door, window to the stairwell, a window to a basement space and the door to the basement have been damaged in connection with the detonation.
No one has been injured.
Police patrols initially cordon off the site, which is then investigated by the national bomb squad. A number of witness statements are obtained.
The police’s work at the scene is complete, the cordon is lifted shortly after 04.00.
A notification of public-dangerous devastation is drawn up. No one has currently been arrested in the case.
