The investigation has shown that neither the premises nor people connected to it were targets. Instead, the police believe that it was a man in his 30s for whom the shots were intended.
He is already known to the police and was found not far from the salon a while after the shooting.
The police theory is that the perpetrator or persons shot at him, and that the salon was hit by accident because it happened to be where he was.
The police suspect conflict between criminal networks
The man himself, however, denies having been shot at.
– We believe that this has connections to an ongoing conflict between criminal networks, says Christer Sjöqvist.
The police believe that the person or persons who shot left the scene in a car, and would like to get in touch with witnesses who may have seen a car leave the area around Lohegatan at 11pm on Saturday evening.
