The list is compiled every couple of years by Noa, the National Operational Department. It is intended to make it easier for the police internally to allocate resources to places where they are needed. The latest list was presented in autumn 2021.
About 60 residential areas throughout Sweden can be classified as vulnerable, risk areas or particularly vulnerable, and the situation in the last category is the worst.
But already in the first category there is open drug sales, violence that risks affecting the innocent and an open dissatisfaction with society.
