The police are investigating an assault that allegedly took place in Olofström during the night of Saturday.
– We cannot go into more details because it is so early in the investigation, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
The crime must have occurred between three and five o’clock during the night.
– If you have noticed anything out of the ordinary, you should contact the police. It can be about people, vehicles, sounds or anything that you may have reacted to.
The police cannot comment on classification either.

– The staff pressed the assault alarm at 01:53. There were people messing up the store. They stood in line and grew impatient. One of them has been active in the assault, says Andreas Aaw, officer on duty at the police.
The employee escaped without serious injuries. The police have started a preliminary investigation into assault of the normal degree.
No one has been arrested, but the police launched a major operation in the area and have checked three men in their 30s.

– There is a lot of smoke, we are investigating, but it is a large factory, said the emergency services’ alarm and control operator Bosse Florell at around 10.45 pm.
The emergency services were then able to establish that an oil spill had caused the smoke.
