Last August, the police sent out questionnaires for Swedes to answer. Then it was residents in Blekinge, Kalmar, Kronobergs and Skåne counties who were expected to answer.

The police in Syd, who sent out the previous survey, have done this annually during the 2000s.

“If you are one of those who received a survey sent home, we hope you will take the time to answer. Your thoughts and experiences are important to us!”, wrote Susanne Hagström Rosenqvistregional police chief in the South, in one press release.

At that time, there were 84,300 people who received the survey in their mailboxes.
