The entry into the investigation is as it was from the beginning, three people have died for unexplained reasons after their work shifts at Northvolt. It has not yet been possible to make any connection to the workplace – but certain observations have been made that the people may have moved in the same areas. According to Peter Källman, these observations have not yet been analyzed and will concern a very limited area.
At the same time, SVT has seen emails sent from a researcher to the police and Northvolt with alarms about possible dangerous substances to which the deceased could have been exposed.

The latter has also recently carried out the last routine autopsy on the third person, and like the two before, no explicable cause of death can be established. Therefore, the police have asked for extended chemical analyzes to look specifically for chemicals used at the factory, which the newspaper The work was the first to report.
