According to the police, the SMS scams that are sent out right now usually go like this the fraudsters claim that the recipient of the message has ordered an item from a company. The message then states that if you have questions about the order or if it was not you who made it yourself then you have to call a number.
When the person who received the message calls the number, then it is connected further to the security department of his bank. The claimant gets to talk to a person who, therefore pretending to work at the plaintiff’s bank and which prompts the plaintiff to key in his bank ID or bank box. When the claimant does this, the fraudster enters his internet bank and can siphon off the money that is there.
