The pilot of the plane that crashed in Lake Siljan on Monday has been found, states Svt Dalarna.
The man was found through the Maritime Police’s dives at 10 o’clock on Wednesday morning. The wreck was at a depth of 26 meters and the man, who is said to be in his 20s, was found next to the fuselage.
A man in his 60s was found on Monday in the crash. He later died of his injuries.
Johan Beischer, deputy rescue leader at the Maritime and Air Rescue Center, stated in connection with the accident that the men practiced lifting and landing on water when the accident occurred. According to him, the plane was US-registered and the passengers were German citizens.
