It was reported that the Utah suspect, who threatened US President Joe Biden, was killed in a shootout while trying to be caught by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) teams.
In the written statement of the FBI, it was stated that before Biden’s visit, Craig Deleeuw Robertson died in the city of Salt Lake City, Utah, “in the conflict that broke out during the arrest proceedings at his home”.
Court records noted that he threatened President Biden, New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and New York Attorney General Letitia James, who are prosecuting former US President Donald Trump.
In the case filing submitted to the U.S. District Court in Utah, Robertson posted on Facebook, “The time is right for a presidential assassination or two. First Joe, then Kamala!!” statement was given.
In the file, it was emphasized that Robertson was between 70-75 years old and was carrying an AR-15 style semi-automatic rifle.
