The alarm came in to the police at 23.56. Witnesses had then seen a lifeless man in a parked car.

Ambulance and police rushed to the scene and performed CPR, but the man’s life could not be saved.

Road workers at gunpoint

After the murder, the suspected perpetrator is said to have fled in a car – which got stuck in a roadworks.

The road workers were then allegedly threatened with a gun and ordered to let the car in front.

According to Aftonbladet’s information, a connection is now suspected between the murder and the threat to the road workers.

– There is nothing we can comment on at the moment and we have no other case connected to the shooting, says Caroline Karlsson, spokesperson for the police.

“It’s very scary”

A witness tells Aftonbladet about how a muffled sound was heard in the area on Thursday evening.

– But it sounded more like a firecracker, but then we saw blue light. It’s very scary, this kind of thing doesn’t usually happen in the Guldheden. We were only out an hour or so before it happened.

When the police arrived at the parked car, they smashed the driver’s window to get the man out.

– The engine was on when the police and ambulance arrived, the car was parked on the side of the street, says the witness.

Police technicians then searched the crime scene with the help of dogs in the hope of finding shell casings and other traces. The closures were lifted during the morning.

– A lot was done during the night when technical evidence was collected, we are continuing with that work now and there is, among other things, film collection to see if anything is caught on camera, says Caroline Karlsson, press spokesperson at the police.
