The perfect answer from Zlatan Ibrahimovic – when TV4 profiler Olof Lundh called 46 times (!): “I only got the answer…”

They have fallen in love with each other several times.
Now Olof Lundh reveals what Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his agent Mino Raiola answered – after 46(!) phone calls.
– A few times it goes home, says Lundh in “Summer in P1”.

It was an era that ended last year when Zlatan Ibrahimovic decided that his long and successful career was over. The Swede belonged to the absolute top of the world and professional football for 24 years, but after playing in nine different clubs he chose, as a 41-year-old, to retire.

Dusterna with Lundh

Zlatan Ibrahimovic poured in goals in big club after big club and league after league, and throughout his career he was known as one of the biggest profiles in football. Zlatan was not only a great player, he could make everyone laugh with just a few words, and his confidence was never wrong.

Ibrahimovic has not always been easy to cover for journalists, and he has never been afraid to put someone on the spot if he thinks the coverage or the questions have been too bad. And it happened more than once that he ended up in Olof Lundh’s hood. The TV4 profile is one of Sweden’s most meritorious football journalists, but in recent years has also become popular with the wider audience through his participation in Filip and Fredrik’s “Alla mot alla”.

The answer – after 46 calls

During the years where Lundh has covered the Swedish national team and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lundh has received the stamp of one of the few who dared to ask the tough questions to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. But Lundh has also chased Zlatan for completely different reasons. In his summer talk, Lundh reveals that he was once told that Ibra was close to changing clubs, and he then wanted a comment from the star.

It’s not the easiest thing there is to get to Zlatan Ibrahimovic or one of his representatives, but Lundh gave it a real try – which led to an incredibly funny quote from Ibrahimovic’s representative Mino Raiola.

– When Zlatan was about to change clubs, I called his agent Mino Raiola 46 times. Of course, I only got the answer “who the f*ck died in Sweden?”. But sometimes it goes home, says Lundh in “Summer in P1”.
