On the run since last May, with the “Settings” menu that ended up on the Internet last September, the PC version of The Returnal was made official during the Game Awards 2022. No surprise anyway, Sony Interactive Entertainment continuing its policy of porting all its first-party games to PC. It was not the Housemarque studio which was also responsible for carrying the game, but Climax Studios, which obviously introduced many technical improvements, superior to what was found on PS5. It’s not yet specified, but we can expect better resolution, an open frame-rate, Ray-Tracing galore, DLSS, Ultra-Wide probably too, but as usual, we will wait for the official elements to celebrate all this. The release of Returnal on PC is expected in early 2023, without further details.
