It took patience, but it’s done, the release date of Rocksmith + has finally been revealed by Ubisoft. The guitar learning game will land first on PC, with a date set for September 6, next week. On consoles, we will have to wait until next fall to see the title be available on consoles. Developed by a team of musicians, music teachers and developers from Ubisoft San Francisco in collaboration with Ubisoft Osaka, Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Bucharest, Rocksmith+ will only be accessible through a subscription service that grants access to a library of over 5,000 songs. While all 5,000 tracks will be available for a monthly subscription, it says more songs will be added each week including music from The Clash, Juan Gabriel, Alicia Keys, Santana and more. In this regard, it is a good idea to remember that the Rocksmith+ repertoire will be made up of different musical genres ranging from rock to metal, from pop to Latin music, or even from hip-hop to indie.

Rocksmith+ will retail for €14.99 for a 1 month subscription, €39.99 for a 3 month subscription and €99.99 for a 12 month subscription. And since Ubisoft is thinking of former Rocksmith 2014 players, know that if they sign up for a 3 or 12 month Rocksmith+ subscription, they will walk away with special offers, including a free month. And finally, a contest has been set up on the Ubisoft Store until September 6 for a chance to win a Gibson Signature guitar or an Epiphone guitar.
