Swedish parliamentary elections will be held in a week.
Party secretary of the Sweden Democrats by Richard Jomshof think it would be a reasonable requirement that the party be involved in Sweden’s next government. This is the case in the event that the predictions of opinion polls come true and the Sweden Democrats become the largest bourgeois party in the Diet.
Jomshof says in an interview with STT that it would be difficult to explain to the party’s voters why the largest party would not participate in a possible bourgeois government but would remain the support party of the government led by the moderate coalition.
According to polls, the support of Sweden’s two political blocs, the red-greens and the bourgeois, is almost at the same level a week before the elections.
