The park manager had employees build a Japanese pavilion

A park manager in a Norrland municipality reports to the police after letting staff build a Japanese pavilion in his private garden.

It was in the spring that it was discovered that municipal employees had built a Japanese pavilion for their boss. The pavilion was built in a municipal workshop and delivered to the park manager’s garden. Eight months later, the park manager had not paid for the pavilion but said it would be done when the bill came. According to the head of administration, however, there was a risk that the Japanese pavilion would not be paid at all. It reports local media.

At first, the park manager was backed by his manager, the administration manager, but that quickly changed and the park manager was shut down. An external investigation concludes that the park manager has given himself benefits and the municipality now chooses to report to the police.
