Incidentally, fewer theater tickets were sold than in 2019, the last edition without restrictions. Then 91,000 tickets were sold, this year about 80,000. Van Pinxteren has an explanation for this, because there was one theater tent less than in other years. “Due to work on the cycle path in Moreelsepark, the festival site was smaller than before. But most performances were still sold out, especially on weekends.”
