The summer is coming to an end and so is this year’s season of Tilde de Paula Eby’s talk show. In the season finale of Tilde, the host is guested by Helen Sjöholm, Johanna Nordström, Shima Niavarani, Petter and Ernst Kirchsteiger. And it turned out to be a bit extra lucky that the latter was present this time. – It was becoming a real crisis, says Tilde in the program. Yes, just hours before broadcast, Tilde’s pants burst. The person who then solved the problem was none other than Ernst, who with needle and thread took on the project of mending Tilde’s trousers. Something that Tilde believes is proof that Ernst is exactly as he is portrayed on the TV screen in real life. “How hard will it be?” – Tilde’s trousers have torn and then someone asks like this: “Who can sew?” And everyone answers: “Not me, not me”. And I just thought “give me the trousers, I’ll sew them – how hard will it be?”, says Ernst. He believes that he does not possess any major sewing skills, but points out that we all devoted ourselves to sewing during our schooling. – I’ve had needlework, of course we’ve all had needlework, he continues. And there was no longer a hole left in Tilde’s pants when the clock struck 8 p.m. and the last program of the season started. – I don’t have holes in my trousers – it’s fantastically nice! notes Tilde.
