A Ukrainian woman named Mariya, whose house was destroyed by a bomb during the clashes, said, “A bomb fell on our house when a Russian tank passed. We had a house in Kiev and we moved there. But there are people who have no other homes and whose houses have been damaged. Our village was heavily damaged. Many of the houses are not repairable and this is very sad. People wrote on the doors of their houses that there are civilians inside, in order not to be bombarded. But they were still the target of bombs. They shot down some houses on purpose. “The more beautiful the houses, the more they bombed them,” he said.
