Last week Nischer Properties’ three main owners made an offer to buy up the company and liquidate it in its current form. This is done because it is not seen as possible for Nischer to carry out construction projects based on sustainable financial calculations. This is stated in a press release from the company Taylor Bidco, i.e. the main owners’ new company, which made the bid.
Has run on temporary termination notices
In cases where a property owner needs to take measures on a building that are considered “non-negligible”, the municipality can grant a temporary final decision. It is common when moving into properties takes place in stages during the construction process.
– The properties in Östersund, we have really had huge problems, says Samuel Beckstrand, CEO of Nischer properties.
In Valla, there has been so much that is not finished that the owner company Nischer properties has continued to need temporary closing notices even after the tenants have moved in.
Claims problem with contractor
– We have had problems with our contractor. We have paid for 100 percent of the construction and when there was 25 percent of the construction left, they went home to Riga and left everything, says Samuel Beckstrand.
On Monday, Östersund municipality granted the last temporary final notice. In one year, the time limit for the building permit expires.
– We are working hard with the municipality to solve all problems, says Samuel Beckstrand.
