Age of Empires 4, which met with strategy lovers last year, was especially appreciated by players who love the genre with its gameplay and features. Announcing that new civilizations will come to the game with new content, Microsoft took the first step for this. Two new civilizations were announced for Age of Empires 4 at the Gamescom 2022 fair, which ended in the past few minutes.
Ottoman and Malian announced for Age of Empires 4
According to the statement, the Ottomans and Malians will be new civilizations to be added to the game. It is stated that Malians in the game will have more strategy-oriented gameplay. In the Ottoman Empire, powerful weapons will be one of the most important aspects of our civilization. When we look at the promotional video that has already been published, we see that large cannons that can lower the castles much faster are included. It will probably have a similar operation to the cannons used by Mehmet the Conqueror in his conquest of Istanbul. In addition, it is highly likely that we will encounter Janissary soldiers in special units, although it is not disclosed.
With these two classes to be added, the number of civilizations in Age of Empires will reach 10. As you know, the British, Chinese, Mongols, Delhi Sultanate, French, Abbasid Dynasty, Holy Roman Empire and Russian civilizations took place in the game. Ottoman and Malian civilizations will be added to the game on October 25th.
