Satisfied their needs in private gardens • Police: “Contact us”
Last Friday evening, the Oslo police were called to a residential area in Asker. Residents had seen and some had even been visited by an elf who caused trouble, Norwegian writes The daily newspaper.
The Santa, captured in the image, appears to be a man. Surveillance cameras from a mansion show the seemingly inebriated Santa walking up the driveway toward the front door where he rings the bell. But when no one opens the door, Santa turns his back on the house, takes a few stumbling steps forward and starts peeing.
– When I saw the video for the first time, I smiled, but I also reacted when I saw that he had no bag. Most Santas come with a sack, says the owner to Dagbladet.
“Want to put an end to this”
On Friday, the police went out to the area to find out who was hiding behind the mask, but failed.
– We want to put an end to this immediately. We would encourage the person concerned to stop, and preferably to contact us and make themselves known, says Sven Martin Ege, operations leader at the Oslo police district to the newspaper.
He continues:
– If anyone sees him, ask them to stop and tell them that the police know about the case. The public is also welcome to call us if they do not wish to approach Santa himself.
