As soon as he left the dungeons of the military intelligence staff, Salomon Kalonda was referred to the general auditor. The hearing was short-lived in the presence of his lawyers who were able, for the first time, to come into contact with their client.

After identification, according to a source close to the case, the military prosecutor reread all the minutes drawn up by military intelligence. The strategist of Moïse Katumbi, continues this source, asked the prosecutor for new hearings for more precisions and details not contained in the signed minutes.

According to another source, these basic minutes did not include certain statements by Salomon Idi Kalonda. The military prosecutor nevertheless placed the opponent under a provisional arrest warrant. Pending the continuation of the hearing on Monday, Salomon Kalonda was transferred to Ndolo military prison, to the surprise of his lawyers.

In addition to charges of undermining state security, Moïse Katumbi’s right-hand man is also accused of having incited soldiers to commit acts contrary to discipline.

At the base, he was arrested on May 30 at the airport for illegal possession of a weapon. But other charges were brought against him after his phone was exploited.
