Anaheim’s surprisingly strong early season in the hockey NHL continued when the Ducks visited Nashville to defeat the Predators 3–2. Ducks Urho Vaakanainen shot beautifully past the Nashville keeper in the final set Juuse Sarosand the native of Joensuu already had time to air the opening goal of his NHL career.
Striker Adam Henrique however, he was seen to have guided the shot into the goal, and after the match the goal was taken away from Vaakanainen. Vaakanainen, 24, who played his first games in a Boston jersey in the 2018-2019 season, has scored 13 goals in the 79 matches he has played.

Saros blocked 17 pucks in Nashville’s goal. The Predators’ season has gotten off to a slow start, and the bottom team of the Central Division has won five out of 15 games.
Dallas came out victorious over Arizona
Dallas, the top team in the central division, already had time to lose its lead in the final set against Arizona, when the coyotes took a 3–2 lead in the last ten minutes. Tyler Seguin hit sent the game into overtime, with Matt Duchene held his goal to two points in Dallas.
Stars Esa Lindell scored his first goal of the season in the opening set. In the second round Miro Heiskanen to the one hit by the pass Roope for Hintz the goal was the sixth of the season.
– I didn’t really see the goal, but I like to shoot from the long range. Fortunately, it went in now, Lindell said of his goal.
– I don’t think they (Arizona’s goals in the final) affected us. We just kept pushing and got an equalizer and later also a nice goal in overtime.

San Jose rose from a losing position to a 3–2 lead in the final set, when Mikael Granlund fed a little more than every minute Tomas Hertlin and Luke Kunin paints. However, the Panthers scored the next three goals, the last of which he shot into an empty net Alexander Barkov. Barkov also passed Carter Verhaeghen 3-3 tie.
