2025 will be a busy year for African football. It will begin with the draw for the CAN in Morocco which will take place on January 27 in Rabat.

To begin hostilities, it is on January 27 that the 24 nations qualified for the next CAN in Morocco will know their opponents during the draw in Rabat.
In February, it’s time for the African Nations Championship, organized jointly by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from February 1 to 28, 2025.
In March, the U17 CAN will be held in Morocco. The opening match will be played on Sunday March 30, 2025, with the final scheduled for Saturday April 19.
Ivory Coast, reigning African champion, hosts the U20 CAN. It will begin on Saturday April 26 and end on Sunday May 18.

The first leg of the Confederation Cup final will take place on Saturday May 17 and the second leg final will be played on Sunday May 25.
Regarding the Champions League, the first leg final is scheduled for May 24 and the return will take place on June 1. For the Women’s Champions League, the opening match will take place on Saturday November 8, 2025 and the final will be played on Sunday November 23.
To end the year 2025, it’s time for the CAN on Moroccan soil. The last edition of the CAN in Morocco dates from 1988, with the participation of only eight teams, Cameroon having won the final against Nigeria. December 21 will mark the kick-off, while the final will take place on January 18, 2026.
