According to the Public Health Agency, the spread of infection is high throughout the country, and the agency reminds once again that it is important to stay at home and avoid close contact with others if you have symptoms.
The authority also assesses that the spread of infection will continue to increase in the coming weeks, which in turn means that more people will need hospital care.
At least three doses of vaccine
In addition to staying at home if you are sick, everyone over 18 is recommended to take at least three doses of the vaccine. The vaccine protects against serious covid-19 and it takes two weeks before it has full effect.
In Örebro County, 88 percent have taken dose two, but after that the numbers drop. 67 percent have taken dose three and 32 percent have topped up with dose 4. Dose 5 are risk groups and the elderly and there the figure is 18 percent.
