Then comes the most unexpected criticism – from Norway(!).
The neighboring country chooses to mock Blågult after the 2-1 victory today.
After a huge upset, Sweden is through to the World Cup semi-finals. It looked safe for a long time against Japan, but after a late reduction goal, it became very exciting in the final minutes of the World Cup quarter-final.

But Blågult managed to persevere and take a very strong 2-1 victory. Thanks to goals by the center back Amanda Ilestedt and the midfielder Filippa Angeldahl on punishment.

It was the new goal queen Ilestedt who arranged the dream start for Sweden after half an hour when she thumped 1-0 into the roof of the net after a tangled situation in the Japanese penalty area.

But in neighboring Norway, they take it a step further and mock Ilestedt’s goal with very strong words.
