Mika Zibanejad scored two goals and Erik Gustafsson had three assists as the New York Rangers beat Toronto 5-2 in the NHL.
Elias Pettersson and Nils Höglander also had reason to celebrate after goals in Vancouver’s win against Nashville.
Rangers’ Swedes had a hand in everything when they managed to secure another victory, the third in the last four games.
Mika Zibanejad opened the scoring just over six minutes into the first period and was also the one to close it with an empty net goal at the end of the third, his tenth and eleventh goals of the season.
In between, the teammate managed Erik Gustavsson deliver three assists and the defender now has a total of 19 points.

Even Toronto’s William Nylander was noted for points after playing forward Austin Matthews when he made it 2–2.
Two other Swedes who contributed to victory for their team in the night’s round were Elias Pettersson and Nils Höglanderwho were noted for goals and assists and goals respectively in Vancouver’s road win over Nashville.
The heavier it was Rasmus Dahlins Buffalo. The 23-year-old from Lidköping was certainly responsible for both goals and assists, but it did not help much in a goal-rich match that visiting Columbus took home with 9-4.

Nor for Daniel Alfredssonwho earlier this week took over as an assistant coach in Ottawa, it went as desired.
In Alfredsson’s debut on the coaching bench, his team looked to be heading for a win for a long time, but despite Ottawa leading 3–1 before the final act, it was a loss. Arizona scored three goals in a span of seven minutes to give the visitors the win.
