Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

In Great Britain, the race for the post of Prime Minister is in full swing. Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson landed in London on Saturday after a trip to the Caribbean and was greeted by a group of supporters. Another former candidate, Rishi Sunak, has the most support – but Penny Mordaunt also wants the top job.

When TV4 Nyheterna’s reporter on the spot asks Londoners who they would vote for, the answers are mixed.

– Back with Boris, all the others mostly just feel like celebrities, says Elsa Conreaux.

– Never mind what the odds are that Boris will come back, says Emily Mackay, who would rather see new elections.

The competing candidates only have this week to do. The new Prime Minister of Great Britain is chosen from the Tory party’s parliamentary group. Right now former finance minister Rishi Sunak leads Penny Mordaunt with at least 112 supporting MPs. In the British media, it is said that Boris Johnson has managed to gather the support of at least 100 Conservative MPs.
