After the successes of Count of Monte-Cristo and Three musketeersChapter 2 by Dimitri Rassam and Pathé present a new French -produced superproduction. This time, no foray on the side of the work of Alexandre Dumas, but a thriller Military in the contemporary context of the fall of Kabul, in 2021. 13 days and 13 nights is Martin Bourboulon’s last realization (The three musketeers) and tells how Commander Mohamed Bida organizes the evacuation of civilians after the city was taken by storm by the Taliban.
It is Roschdy Zem who embodies the first role, adapted from a true story. He replies in particular to Lyna Khoudri, cesarized for his role in Papicha and recently viewed in The three musketeers. A first trailer presages an breathtaking action thriller, to be discovered in cinemas in 2025 (the release date is not yet revealed).
Synopsis – Kabul, August 15, 2021. While the American troops are preparing to leave the territory, the Taliban storm the capital. In the middle of chaos, Commander Mohamed Bida and his men ensure the security of the French Embassy, still open. Trapped, Commander Bida decides to negotiate with the Taliban to organize a last chance convoy with the help of EVA, a young Franco-Afghane humanitarian.
