Online shooter Fortnite is known for collaborating with big pop culture brands like Star Wars or Dragon Ball; Then you bring skins and even game modes from those worlds into the shooter. Insiders and dataminers are now reporting that in the week starting August 22nd. such a collaboration with the shooter Destiny 2 is pending. Images are circulating of 3 Fortnite themed skins coming to Destiny 2. The Titan gets a skin that Fortnite players would do a lot for.
Is this confirmed? No, this is not officially confirmed. But several insiders, dataminers and leakers have researched and confirmed it.
The leak originated yesterday night, on August 20th at 11:30 p.m. German time. Then Ginsor shared the image of 3 skins coming to Destiny on Twitter. Since then, these skins have been circulating (via twitter).
Ginsor is a dataminer specialized in Destiny 2.
The last cooperation in Fortnite caused a stir:
Fortnite leakers also confirmed this collaboration today on Sunday. Here’s what Mida tweeted:

What do the skins look like in Destiny 2?
3 skins have been leaked, which are apparently supposed to come to Destiny 2 via the Eververse, the cash shop:
The titan’s skin alludes to a famous skin in Fortnite that existed in Season 2: The “Black Knight” – many Fortnite players would give a lot for the skin.
The other two skins are nods to Omega (Hunter) and Drift (Warlock), also iconic skins from Fortnite’s past.
What’s up with the collaborations? Fortnite is known for collaborating with big pop culture brands. This makes it possible in Fortinet to walk around as a stormtrooper from Star Wars, as a football player, basketball player or Marvel superhero.
Sometimes Fortnite even goes a step further and brings a special mode based on the other game to Fortnite itself: there have already been Star Wars modes or a strong Borderlands influence.
As a result, some see Fortnite as an attempt to create the “metaverse”: a place where so many pop-culturally significant brands converge.
Fortnite is just wild in 2022: “How can this be a real game?”
What’s the question now? Now that we know what the skins that are coming to Destiny 2 and bringing the Fortnite flavor there look like, the question has arisen: what skins are coming to Fortnite? Destiny 2 doesn’t have a real main character – that’s actually the player. Do you bring Cayde-6 or Zavala?
There is also the idea that Destiny 2 could come to the Epic Game Store.
How is this discussed? So Destiny 2 players are critical of Fortnite players. One on Twitter says he hates the idea of people walking around Fortnite with a character like Cayde-6 with no idea who he is.
In general, Destiny players find the new skins impressive.
