They are two of Swedish skiing’s biggest stars.
Frida Karlsson and Linn Svahn also come from impressive seasons.
Now they show the new pictures that make all Swedes long for winter.
Ahead of last season, the star trio returned Frida Karlsson, Lynn Svahn and Maja Dahlqvist back to the national ski team again. They became the so-called “breakout trio” when they chose to leave the Swedish national team to train on their own in high-profile ways.

But last summer they managed to come to an agreement with the national ski team and it was a great success for both parties. Last ski season, both Karlsson and Svahn showed why they are two of the world’s best skiers, while Sweden won the national cup on the women’s side as the world’s best ski team.

Svahn got his big vindication last winter after several years of problems and saved a total of nine World Cup victories in individual and team. It was enough to win the Sprint Cup for the season and take an impressive second place in the overall World Cup.
“I miss you”
Karlsson also consolidated his position in the top world class with five World Cup victories and a fine third place in the overall standings for the World Cup. Next season, the ski WC in Trondheim awaits both Linn and Frida, who are currently recharging their batteries for another pre-season.

Frida Karlsson has now shared new photos, see below, from their everyday life in Östersund on social media. And they are really wonderful pictures that make all Swedes long for the ski season again.
“To everyone who claims that we don’t have summer in Jämtland. We have now forgotten the snow that came 10 days ago,” writes Frida on Instagram.

Together they enjoy the warmth and each other’s company and the post has received almost 25,000 likes as well as many nice comments from Swedish ski lovers, see the pictures below.
“I miss you ‘skiers’,” writes one user in the comment field.
“What a skiing hero! You are the best, fingers crossed all winter for you,” writes another.
“If the skiing goes to hell, you can open a pizzeria,” writes a third, referring to the fact that they make homemade pizzas in one of the photos.
