The new Wolverine after Hugh Jackman will be more like this Kingsman star

With Logan – The Wolverine, Hugh Jackman has said goodbye to his iconic X-Men character in a spectacular way. Since then there have been rumors that a new Wolverine star could bring the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox has finally made it possible.

Recently, none other than Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe was rumored to be in talks for the role. But now there is new information that Kingsman star Taron Egerton as new Wolverine favorites take center stage.

Taron Egerton is said to have spoken to MCU boss about Wolverine role

As Collider reports, Egerton discussed in a New York Times interview Meetings with higher Marvel officials spoken. This includes MCU boss Kevin Feige himself. Of course, the Kingsman star remains vague, but his statements about Wolverine are still pretty clear:

I would be delighted but also concerned because Hugh is so attached to the role that I would wonder if it would be very difficult for anyone else to do so. But hopefully they’ll give me a chancewhen it comes to that.

In 2019, rumors first surfaced that Daniel Radcliffe would play the next Wolverine. At the time, however, the Harry Potter star was misunderstood. Most recently, he said in an interview that he still afraid of the role would have.

Apparently Marvel is already looking at Taron Egerton anyway. It remains to be seen whether the Kingsman actor will really be the next Wolverine after Hugh Jackman. Official Plans does not exist yet.
