The new trailer of 7 vs. Wild is here and this time the candidates are really fighting for survival

The new season of 7 vs. Wild finally has a trailer and it shows that this season is going to be extremely tough. It’s going to be freezing cold and even Fritz Meinecke is probably worried about the candidates.

What does the new trailer show? In the new trailer for 7 vs. Wild, you can see scenes from the new season in New Zealand. This time, the candidates compete as a group to survive the two weeks abandoned in the wilderness together.

The trailer finally shows why the participants are not alone this year, because this time it really is about survival.

One of the candidates of 7 vs. Wild is LetsHugo, you can see more about him here:

Freezing cold, snowstorm and extremely hard

What will the new season be like? The trailer for the new season already reveals that it didn’t just snow once, but that the candidates had to contend with the freezing cold for the entire time they were suspended. In the trailer, you can see that the candidates use the broken parts of the plane to build shelter.

Next to their accommodation, where all the candidates sleep together to share their body heat, there is also a large fire burning. In one scene in the trailer you can see that the fire spreads to parts of the plane and sets them on fire. However, the participants probably discovered this in time.

What is it like for the participants? In the trailer, Joey Kelly, who is taking part in 7 vs. Wild for the second time, can be heard taking stock. He says: “We are in New Zealand, in the South Island. It is late autumn, almost winter here now. It is cold. It is very cold and we have very, very little. The hardest 7 vs. Wild.”

Survival expert Joe Vogel is also worried about the group. In the trailer he says: “To be quite frank, we have a super, super bad setting. Unless some gimmicks have been hidden somewhere, I see at least half of the participants being eliminated tonight.”

The participants on site will soon realise why this year there was a group and not an individual suspension. Beginners would probably have been eliminated within a few days if they had been alone in these adverse conditions.

Do we see more of Fritz Meinecke in the trailer? Yes, Fritz Meinecke also appears in the trailer. He briefly introduces the scenario at the beginning of the trailer, but also appears again later.

In the later scene, he is seen walking through the snowy landscape at night while it is snowing. He climbs a small hill and then observes the participants with his binoculars. He says “[…] you can see the fire blazing again.”

This scene could be an indication that the temperatures were so cold or the snowstorm so severe that the organization and Fritz Meinecke himself were worried about the participants. He himself is not a fan of the 7 vs. Wild simulation being interrupted.

It is not yet clear whether the situation really became so dangerous that Season 7 vs. Wild had to be interrupted or even canceled.
