After The Walking Dead ended, the hit series expanded with several spin-offs. One of the offshoots is The Walking Dead: Dead City, which focuses on Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
While the spin-off can be seen here from October, the first TWD offshoot is already running in the USA. In a new interview, Cohan opened up about getting a bigger future for their series wishes.
Lauren Cohan can imagine up to five seasons of new The Walking Dead series
In a lengthy interview with the New York Post, the Maggie actress concludes by saying that if season 1 is successful enough, she wishes she would have many more seasons of The Walking Dead: Dead City:
We’re definitely ready to move beyond season one. The TV landscape is a little different and a little busier than it used to be. But we really hope the series does well and may lead to a second, third, fourth or fifth season. We feel like we just cracked the egg – now we should make an omelet.
In addition to starring in the series, Cohan is also an executive producer behind the camera. In the spin-off’s story, Maggie and Negan must team up in New York to… Maggie’s kidnapped son Hershel from the clutches of a psychopath.
When and where is The Walking Dead series with Maggie and Negan running in Germany?
In Germany, The Walking Dead spin-off at MagentaTV run. The six episodes of the series will come out in October. An exact date has not yet been set.
