The new season 7 vs. Wild is officially confirmed – international seasons and a female version are also planned

While the third season of 7 vs. Wild has officially ended on YouTube, the CEO of Calivision Network is now revealing what’s next for the brand.

Where was Season 4 confirmed? Season 4 of 7 vs. Wild has been confirmed by André Schubert, CEO of Calivision Network. Calivision Network acquired the rights to 7 vs. Wild before the third season and is producing the series together with former founders Fritz Meinecke, Maximilian Kovacs and Johannes Hovekamp.

Schubert now gave an interview, which can be found at DWDL, where he commented extensively on 7 vs. Wild.

One of the participants in season 3 is the Twitch streamer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla. You can see more about him in our video.

Season 4 is already being planned

What about season 4? André Schubert revealed in the interview: “Calivision Network is definitely continuing with the planning of the fourth season. Some details still need to be clarified.” It seems clear that there will be a fourth season. Knossi recently spoke to “7 vs. Wild” founder Maximilian Kovacs on the phone and tried to get information about season 4.

Schubert has not yet revealed what exactly a fourth season will look like. However, he emphasized the interest from abroad in 7 vs. Wild. It is no coincidence that the show ran on Amazon Freevee.

At the same time, he said that the United Kingdom and the United States of America are among the most important markets. It is not clear whether there will really be international relays.

What’s the deal with the female version? Schubert is aware that 7 vs. Wild Amazon Freevee has not only provided content but also a large fan base. He says about it:

We want to apply this recipe to other formats. These have nothing to do with ‘7 vs. Wild’ – but we’re currently in the process of creating a female counterpart.

Here we can only guess what it is about. But the concept for success should be clear: insert famous participants who bring their own fans into a format that is interesting for viewers. Many shows, for example Jungle Camp, use celebrity guests to attract viewers to the format.

Schubert also has a few words to say about the jungle camp: “We are the ‘jungle camp’, but in a tough place – with real dangers. We already have a similar audience size to ‘I’m a star…’.”

What happens after 7 vs. Wild Season 3? After 7 vs. Wild Season 3, the channel should probably no longer be idle for 9 months, at least that is one of Schubert’s thoughts.

It is tempting to offer this community an additional format. We have an advantage: As producers, we are well informed – we have gigantic data – and we have all the senses of the community.
