The facelifted Renault Clio, which has been on the agenda for a while with its images on different details, has finally been introduced. Since it is one of the important models produced in Turkey, very important differences await us in the product range, whose details and innovations we are extra curious about. Adorned with the design and equipment lines Renault used for the first time in Austral, the Clio suddenly becomes one of the cars with the most striking design in its segment. The sustainability approach of Renault’s recycling focus in the cockpit also draws attention.
New Renault Clio technical specifications
One of the first details we need to know about the renewed Clio family is that there has been no change in the dimensions. This too; It means that it will continue on the road with a length of 4,053 millimeters, a width of 1,988 millimeters, a height of 1,439 millimeters and a wheelbase of 2,583. Parallel to this, there is no change in the trunk volume of 391 liters. In the E-Tech hybrid version, this figure is reduced to 301 liters.
Clio’s engine options will continue to meet all kinds of needs. At the entry level of the family, a 1.0-liter three-cylinder atmospheric engine producing 65 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque will be offered to users. This engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. With the turbo version of the same engine combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, the figures will increase to 90 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque. The package, which produces 100 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque, will be one of the peak combinations of this engine. In the Clio product range, the LPG option with a power of 100 horsepower and a torque of 170 Nm can also be preferred. The peak on the engine side will be a 145-hp hybrid option. In the hybrid system, which is based on the 1.6-liter gasoline engine, the internal combustion unit produces 94 horsepower. On the electric side, where there is a double electric motor producing 36 kW and 18 kW, there is a battery with a capacity of 1.2 kWh.
