The new pictures of Stina Nilsson make the competitors tremble – now widely praised: “Brutal form!”

Stina Nilsson is loading up for a new season.
And the new pictures of the biathlon star really make the rivals tremble.
“Brutal shape!” praises one follower.

Stina Nilsson comes from a season that was mostly a big disappointment. After a few seasons where her development as a biathlete went straight up, she had a heavy winter, where she was never even in the top 30 in the World Cup. In retrospect, Nilsson has admitted that it took a toll on her to be affected by covid-19 last summer, which led to her falling behind.

The new pictures

Stina Nilsson was sometimes kicked out of the World Cup, and she didn’t get a place in the WC either. Instead, Nilsson had to focus on competing mostly in the IBU Cup, which is the level below the World Cup, and in the EC, where the best riders were not included. Nilsson has now changed his training schedule during the summer, in order to get revenge during the winter.

Above all, for Nilsson, it’s about training at other times of the day. Biathlon competitions usually run later in the day than ski competitions, and therefore Nilsson also needs to train later in the day now compared to when she was a skier. There are high hopes that Nilsson will once again be tamed at the top of the World Cup and in the WC, and there certainly seems to be nothing wrong with the form at the moment anyway.

Praised by followers

Stina Nilsson has said in interviews that she feels strong and in good shape – and that is now proven by the new pictures of her. Nilsson himself has shared pictures from the national team’s high-altitude camp in Font-Romeu, France, and in the comments section, tributes pour in for the Swede.

“Oh! Looks to be in brutal shape Stina. It will be fun to follow you this winter,” writes one follower.

“You look strong and I think you will be very strong this winter,” writes another.

“Bodes well for the coming winter,” writes a third.

Stina Nilsson also leaves a small update about the camp she is at.

“Halfway up the hill and halfway into the camp. It’s going so well,” she writes in the post, where there is also a picture of Nilsson and her boyfriend Emil Nykvist, also a biathlete.
