Frida Karlsson is in hard training for next season.
But even that can go wrong…
Now Karlsson offers a deadly incident from a training session – which makes just about everyone laugh.
There is no doubt that Frida Karlsson is one of the world’s best skiers, and she certainly proved that last season. 24-year-old Karlsson came third in the overall World Cup and could, among other things, look back on a season where she won the five-mile in the classic Holmenkollen.
Successful winter
And next season she hopes for further success in Norway, as an extraordinary season awaits. Next season’s Skiing World Championships will take place in Norway and Trondheim, and Frida Karlsson is currently in hard training to get in shape just right for all skiers’ highlight next winter.
Rumors have claimed that a certain Therese Johaug will make a comeback just in time for the WC on home soil, and if Frida is to defeat her, and skaters like Ebba Andersson, something very special is required. During the summer, Frida Karlsson has managed a lot, including a soccer match with the Remsle UIF team, where her sisters play. Frida Karlsson scored in the big return to the football field – but now it’s endurance training again, which Karlsson showed with new pictures on Instagram.
Beautiful pictures
Frida Karlsson is one of Sweden’s biggest athletes and she often shares her everyday life with her followers on Instagram. On Sunday, Karlsson announced that she intended to inaugurate her new running shoes during a run in Åre, but that would turn out to be a mistake. In a video, you see how Karlsson ran straight into a large area of mud, which almost goes all the way up to the star’s knees.
The video of Karlsson struggling to get past the mud made followers laugh out loud, and many made encouraging comments for Frida.
“Laughed in recognition at the picture in the “gag”… sad”‚ writes one follower.
“Why does everything strange happen to you?”, writes another.
“But now you know that they work in mud, perfectly,” writes a third.
